KO Swim Hawai'i was founded by Maui native, wife and mother of 4, Crystal Adair Pitts. With a love for fabrics, fashion and design, My mission was to create super soft high quality "super cheeky" style bikinis she longed for. Birthing KO Swim Hawai'i in 2014, KO started as Kolohe Okole Swimwear. Meaning "badass" interpreted in Hawaiian. Being a tounge twister for many it evolved to KO Swim Hawai'i. KO Swim Hawai'i is locally made in Maui, Hawai'i. Its important for me to have the local community involved with KO Swim Hawai'i. From Beach Clean-ups, to our manufacturing our environment and community are important to KO as a brand. Being aware of our carbon footprint by cutting fabric with minimal waste. We do our best to resuse our scraps in numerous of ways and are now carrying more luxurious Eco fabrics!
